The Retreat, a five-star, 62-suite, design-centric hotel, had its first full year of operation in 2019. Operations have been running well and the hotel has been very well received by guests. It has also won a number of international awards for its unique guest experience, service, setting, design, and amazing environment. The average occupancy for 2019 was around 60% and the hotel welcomed over 23,000 guests. Despite its short existence, the hotel already has a number of regular guests who have visited more than twice. Guests at the Retreat Hotel have access to the Retreat Spa and several suites have access to a private lagoon.

Silica Hotel is one of Blue Lagoon Iceland‘s best kept secrets—a 35-room, four-star hotel where guests have access to a special lagoon as well as access to the Blue Lagoon. The average occupancy of Silica Hotel was around 95% during the year and almost 21,000 guests were welcomed. The hotel has received very good reviews on social media and among hotel guests, some of whom come year after year.
